ABOUT ISSACHAR ENTERTAINMENT
Issachar Entertainment, NYC was founded in 1987. as a full service artist management company. The name Issachar was chosen as one of my first artists was Mikey Dread, the legend dub master from Jamaica. Without too much detail, Issachar represents the month of august, and is taken from the bible, and is one of the twelve tribes of Israel, hence the roots / rock connection. I started as a tour manager after graduation from New York University. I worked crew gigs, and such. in fact, i was going for the LSAT when a tour w/ the Tom Tom Club came up. I could do Chris Frantz drums and Steve Scales percussion. Long story short i am not a lawyer at present day. Tour management turned into full time artist management in 2000. What Issachar has become is as diverse as the city i live in…New York.
Artists include: Murphy’s Law, Gang Green, Wax, Dog Eat Dog, D-generation, Martin Page, The Bosstones, The Dickies, Holly Vincent, Freddie Mac Gregor, Ronnie Spector, Gravediggaz, Sevendust, New Kingdom, Reggie Gaines, Nefertiti, all of which i had some part in either being manager straight away, or tour manager. Not to mention all the cpf’s along the way from 20 years of experience touring the world.
My current personal management roster is rock solid… Clutch, GWAR, and i even still help the rock -n- roll hall of famer Ronnie Spector when the time is right.
