ronnie helps close “the cutting room”

EVERYTHING that wasn’t nailed down was up for grabs at the closing party of Steve Walter and Chris Noth’s Cutting Room Tuesday night. Joan Rivers, who began the festivities with two sold-out shows, observed a couple at a front table eating steaks and asked, “Do you really think that’s a good idea?” After Ronnie Spector sang, guests tried to drink the bar dry, with only the most courageous revelers still standing to imbibe the final bottles of watermelon-flavored rum and banana schnapps. An exiting Rivers whispered she’d stolen the mirror from her dressing room.
