CLUTCH Announce Summer Tour Dates With Prong and Lionize

New Weathermaker Music Releases Revealed

Maryland rockers CLUTCH are currently in the midst of a North American tour which features headlining shows, co-headlining dates with HELLYEAH and a radio festival appearance.  Today CLUTCH is excited to announce a headlining run for this summer with Prong and Lionize providing support.  The tour is scheduled to kick off July 11^th in Fayetteville, AR and currently scheduled to wrap up on July 22^nd in Richmond, VA.

CLUTCH will also be returning to Europe this festival season.  The band has been confirmed for the Sonisphere Festival in Madrid Spain on May 26^th and the Peace and Love Festival in Borlänge, Sweden on June 29^th.  For those European fans that have been clamoring for the exclusive double LP vinyl reissues, you will be glad to know that they are being released in Europe.   Blast Tyrant will be the first in the series of reissues and it will be released on May 25^th.

CLUTCH will be releasing a 7” picture disc single of the new track “Pigtown Blues” on June 19^th. (The digital single will be released June 5^th)  This is the first new studio material from CLUTCH since 2009’s Strange Cousins From the West, and the first simultaneous worldwide release for Weathermaker Music.  The track “Pigtown Blues” will be debuted on “The Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter” which airs weekly on BBC/Radio 1.

In other Weathermaker Music news, the label has lined up two special releases for this summer.  The first release is a limited edition 7” single from the Legendary New York Hardcore band THE MOB.  The band recently entered the studio to record new material for their new single Back to Queens, which will be released July 17^th.  THE MOB will be playing their first show together in over five years as part of this year’s Black N’ Blue Bowl which will be held May 19^th at Webster Hall in New York City.  More info can be found HERE.

Additionally Weathermaker Music will release the new “Pros and Cons” EP from THE COMPANY BAND.  The EP features five new tracks and will be released on July 31^st.  THE COMPANY BAND features Neil Fallon, James A. Rota (Fireball Ministry), Jess Margera (CKY), Brad Davis (Fu Manchu) and Dave Bone.  Along with the CD Release, Weathermaker Music will release a 12” vinyl limited edition/collectors version of the EP. The EP and the vinyl will be released on July 31^st.  More details onTHE MOB and THE COMPANY BAND releases will be announced shortly.

Lastly in CLUTCH related news, the band has just inked a licensing deal with Fox Sports for the 2012 NASCAR and MLB seasons for the track “The Regulator”.

Maryland rockers CLUTCH are kicking off their North American tour tonight in Norfolk, VA at The Norva.  CLUTCH’s upcoming tour features headlining shows, co-headlining dates with HELLYEAH and a radio festival appearance.  A complete list of dates can be found below.

CLUTCH is hitting the road in support of their double vinyl edition of Blast Tyrant which is available via Weathermaker Music.  This 180+ gram expanded vinyl contains 16 songs and includes six mini-posters taken straight from Blast Tyrant’s “Atlas of the Invisible World”.   Each illustrated poster is sized (8.5″ x 11″) and depicts one of the various characters featured within the Blast Tyrant storyline.  CLUTCH will also be releasing a picture disc single of the new track “Pigtown Blues” on June 19^th.  This is the first new studio material from CLUTCH since 2009’s Strange Cousins From the West.

HOLLISTON TO DEBUT TONIGHT, ODERUS TO LIVE CHAT ON SHOW’S FACEBOOK PAGE TONIGHT AT 7:30

The lead singer of GWAR, the always engaging, incredibly sexy, and perpetually smelling like a dead-dog  Oderus Urungus is set to make his sit-com debut tonight on FEARnet new original comedy series, “Holliston”. Oderus appears as himself, and has a weekly supporting role as main character and director Adam Green’s imaginary friend. Once a week, Oderus emerges from the closet in Adam’s bedroom, to give him really bad advice that is sure to lead to hilarious hijinx!

“Hey…they got me coming out of a closet? Doesn’t that symbolize something? Like something to do with sucking cocks?” said our confused alien overlord.

Tonight, April 3^rd at 7:30, Oderus will be posting live on the show’s Facebook page, located at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Holliston-TV-Show/106634112770835. He will be joined by co-stars Adam Green, Joe Lynch and Corri English to answer questions, offer advice, and break the computer they gave him. For their own safety, they will be in another location.

“I am NOT gonna kill my co-stars…not unless the world is ready for The Oderus Urungus Show. And they better be soon, or everybody is going to die. But I pretty much promised Adam I wouldn’t break any cast members until we find out if we get another season or not. The little shit.”

Oderus is also working with the folks at Metal Injection on a new project that provides a sneak-peek at just what happens behind-the-scenes on a GWARtour. The hardest working band in show biz continues their merciless assault as they are currently savaging the US with their latest tour, in support of the Smoot Family Fund http://www.facebook.com/pages/Smoot-Family-Fund/187924507981760, designed to gather funds for the family of Cory Smoot, GWAR’s longtime lead guitar player, who died of a heart attack during the band’s 2011 fall tour. After this the band will continue to work on new material and get ready for this summer’s hugest GWAR-B-Q yet (this one will actually be outdoors!)

In other GWAR news, your lords and masters have been confirmed to headline the New York Zombie Prom on June 9^th at Irving Plaza in New York City. GWAR, will close the event which also features a pageant of the undead and a killer raffle for an original full page drawing from “The Walking Dead” comic book series.  Half of the proceeds from the raffle will benefit The Smoot Family Fund.  Tickets are available now and can be purchased HERE.
