(New York, NY) – Legendary rocker Zakk Wylde is proud to announce the creation of The Black Label Berzerkus, a rock n’ roll night of excess and unique madness! Headlined by Wylde’s infamous Black Label Society, the extensive two-month long North American trek will also feature Clutch, Children Of Bodom and 2Cents. Hand-picked by Wylde himself, Children Of Bodom and Clutch will share the main support slot. Kicking off on September 21st at Roseland in Portland, OR, the tour will make stops across the U.S. and Canada, and will pack a powerful punch of music and debauchery. These concerts will be filmed by producer and director extraodinaireAgent Ogden and featured on the “Strange Cousins From the West”DVD package, to be released in the spring of 2010.
On December 15, CLUTCH will issue a double vinyl package of their latest studio effort, “Strange Cousins From the West”, through the band’s self-owned label Weathermaker Music. This vinyl edition will feature two tracks that cannot be found on the CD version of “Strange Cousins…” The first track is the recently recorded “Metroliner Special”and the second is an extended version of the band’s latest single and video, “50,000 Unstoppable Watts”.
The first 4,000 pieces of “Strange Cousins” vinyl will include a coupon for a free digital download of all 12 songs through the band’s web site, www.pro-rock.com.
Also this fall, Weathermaker will make available for digital purchase the former DRT Entertainment catalog, which includes “Blast Tyrant”(2004), “Robot Hive/Exodus” (2005) and “From Beale Street to Oblivion” (2007). Weathermaker plans to reissue all three of these in 2010 with a heavy dose of bonus material. Double vinyl packages are in the works for these as well.
“Robot Hive/Exodus” was made available digitally on November 30 and will be followed by “Blast Tyrant” on December 18. Due to the high amount of digital demand for the band’s 2007 single “Electric Worry”,Weathermaker has already issued “From Beale Street to Oblivion” on November 7 to coincide with the song’s inclusion in the popular video game “Left 4 Dead 2″ and its television commercial.
In other news, the band have added some headlining dates to their Australian/New Zealand itinerary aside from their participation in the annual “Soundwave Festival“. Those shows run as follows:

Breaking News!New Digital Single, “King of Arizona,” Available Now courtesy of Weathermaker Music!
Just in time for a possible Arizona Cardinals upset over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Superbowl XLIII, the “King of Arizona” single by seminal hard rock band Clutch will be digitally available today, January 27th, via Weathermaker Music/RED Distribution.
This track will eventually be available at retail, but not until April 14th, as “King of Arizona” will be included on the remastered “Slow Hole to China, Rare & Unreleased” package, along with notable Clutch classics “Sea of Destruction”, “Willie Nelson”, “Guild of Mute Assassins,” and the John Coltrane cover “Equinox.”
In the meantime, the band will hit the road in February and March, supporting their latest live album / DVD “Full Fathom Five,” as well as the new full-length release for the band’s side project, The Bakerton Group, entitled “El Rojo” (February 17th on Weathermaker Music).

Inks Deal w/ RED Distribution * Announces New Bakerton Group Album Out February 17th!

Weathermaker Music, the label owned by touring juggernauts Clutch, has inked a multi-year, multiple release North American deal with Sony/BMG owned RED Distribution. First on deck, slated for a February 17th release through the formidable alliance, is the new BAKERTON GROUP release entitled “El Rojo!”
Produced by Clutch and J. Robbins at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore, MD, “El Rojo” will be the first full tilt release from THE BAKERTON GROUP, the psychedelic instrumental jazz-laden alter ego of Clutch (all 4 original Clutch members make up The Bakerton Group). In addition, Per Wiberg from Opeth was brought in to handle all piano, synth and keyboard duties on all 10 of “El Rojo’s” tracks.
In other Clutch related news, some of the incredible footage from the band’s first ever live DVD/CD, “Full Fathom Five,” will be featured on Comcast Cable’s On Demand “Concert TV” channel starting December 15th, along with classic rock icons Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Black Crowes, Deep Purple, Santana, U2 & Motorhead.
* Clutch will end 2008 the same way they began it, on the road. In late December, they will headline a short run with Viking Skull and Russian Circles as support. Starting Feb 11th to March 3rd, both Clutch and The Bakerton Group will simultaneously tour the the United States, before recording the highly anticiapted follow-up to the “From Beale Street to Oblivion” CD.
